Today at school we had a remembrance day ceremony and I had to read a poem to the whole school (500 kids). I was a bit nervous but I still did it!
It was funny because I had just made a poem for no reason at home about Remembrance Day
and my teacher said that she loved so much and she wanted me to present it!!!

During my military "career" I have encountered hundreds of vetrans of numerous conflicts.
Never wanting thanks, all they ever asked for was the effort to be remembered so that it never has to be repeated.
