Wacky Walk Home

So, school was cancelled because of the wacky weather. That meant I had to go with the boys to their swimming lesson. My dad drove us there. But, unfortunately we had to walk home because dad went to work. It was sure a WACKY WALK HOME!!!!!! There was slush on the ground and it was freezing cold rain. We had to walk all the way home from the rec centre. When we got home I had to change my socks and my pants because they were SO WET!!!!!!! Now I'm home and dry.

SICK :(

So, on Friday I had to stay home from school because I was BARCKIN' away!!!!!!! And that was bad for me because I had to miss a test [a spelling test]. Also, it was bad for me because Friday is my favorite day: because, there's art, movement in the gym, no gym, that is it. So as you can see, I was VERY SICK!!!!!!!

Family Literacy day

So,on friday at school we got to wear our p.j.'s to school and we also got to do stations around the pod. [My mom and Jake came with me]. At each station we got to do somthing different. Like, at the first station we went to the librery and got to play games on the computer [but, not any game we wanted]. At the secend station we did something called D.E.A.R. time, D.E.A.R time is acttually Drop Everything And Read time where we read quitly. At the third station we made bookmarkand if we wanted to we could write a word in englash or in another langauge. At the last station we made a valintine for the siners across the street the from the school. it's called the IDYWILD manner. But before we did all thoose stations we all met in the gym for story.

Christmas and More

So Christmas was great this year! I got pretty much everything I wanted and more. The toy I asked from Santa was called a VideoNow, and it is like a portable DVD player, but it is smaller, and you can play games on it too. And when I asked for it the boys got one too. I got a Pink one, Jacob got a blue one, Lucas got a silver one and of course mom and dad didn't get one.

I got to see a lot of my family lately. I went to see Narnia in the movie theatre on the day that I saw Nana and Poppy. I went with two of my aunt's my uncle, and three of my cousin's. After that we went to Tim Hortons and some of us had donuts and coffee and we talked. It was soooooo much fun.

December (Christmas)

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, but anyway...

It's December now and I CAN"T WAIT for Christmas! I Can't believe it is the 6th of December already! Only 19 more days. Last Saturday we were supposed to get our tree but "our house isn't ready for it" said my dad!!! So this Saturday the 10th we are going to get our tree!

Guess what I absolutely want for Christmas, I even put it on my Christmas list. A Video Now. A Video now is a little (like) DVD player, that only plays Video Now disks. You can watch a bunch of different shows. Even though it is pretty expensive I hope Santa can make it for me, right?

Build a Bear

Anybody ever seen a commercial for Build a Bear workshop? I have. Last weekend I went there for Kaylia's birthday, she used to live across the street. Now on Oct 15 I get to go there for Kennedy, from schools birthday.

I have one bear and I get to make another bear, maybe for one of my brothers. I am also going to bring my "paw pass" so I can get some clothes. The bear I have is named Daisy. Great name eh?!?

My new blog

Hey everybody who is reading my blog. Do you like it? I didn't know it was like this until now... my dad did it. I think it is great! Dad picked the right colors.

I just got back to school last Tuesday. My teacher is really great and my class is awesome. Every Friday we have a draw for "congratulations tickets". To get these tickets you have to be good a school. We also have a noodle jar at school. To earn noodles you have to be good in line, then you get to put noodles in the jar. When the jar is full we get to have a game day and everyone brings in board games.

There is lots more stuff I will tell you about soon.

Back to School

I'm so excited to go back to school. I do hope that most of my friends still go to my school. I hope that I am with the same class that I was with last year in school. Most of the things I can't wait to do again are... recess (I get to play with all my friends outside), I missed some subjects like health and math, getting to see all of my teachers.

I already got my back pack and my lunch bags. I can't wait to go into grade two! I wonder who my teacher will be. I feel much older already.

Photographic Memory

On vacation we forgot to take my camera. I asked my mom if I had photographic memory. She said yes (mom just said she didn't say that). So I took lots of pictures in my mind. I wish I could post them but I can't. Camping was really fun this week. We went to the beach... that was probably my favorite part of camping. I brought our boogie board and three noodle boards. I can stand up really far in the water. I stayed in the water almost all day, the water was really cold sometimes.

At night we had camp fires and we made smores. We then went to bed and woke up for the next great morning and day of camping.
