What a day! School is finally over, and I no longer feel stressed about upcoming tests, overdue projects, friends fighting, or my hot classroom. I can spend my lazy summer days however I want. Of course there will be chores and cleaning to be done and stuff, but I will mostly be free. It's been a crazy year of ups and downs, tears and laughter, and both exciting and disappointing events. School was...well, interesting. I am ecstatic for the summer to begin! Late night movie rentals, popcorn in the morning, camping, staying up til 11:00, BBQs. I love the summer. And this August I will be going to summer camp, as well as at some point this summer I will be going to a cottage with my family. I am so pumped and excited I can't even explain it!

Changes. And Youth Group.
Saturday was a day of changes. To start the day off, I headed for the school to clean up the front yard. We pulled the weeds, and moved two of the planters to the back. It was a lot of fun and our school's front yard looks a lot more clean. We even cleaned up a lot of the garbage that was lying around out there. When I was done I went home to clean my own room. Soon after that me, my mom, and a bunch of our friends got our hair cut. Mine is really short and I got bangs. It looks pretty rad. After that I went home for an hour and then out to a youth group event. It was fun and we ate spaghetti! I had a great day. Today I'm going to a wedding shower and tomorrow school. Can't wait!
I just finished reading my book and it made me very sad at parts and very happy at parts. I've probably read this book several time, and I will read it again, I'm sure. It's called "There's a Boy in The Girls' Bathroom!" by Louis Sachar. Amazing book. You should read it.

Writing, writing, writing
Just a reminder that I have another blog for all of my readers to enjoy, especially if you like my stories. The link is:

I haven't posted for a while on this website or on that one, but I plan on writing even more. On my story blog (link above) I am pretty sure I'm on like chapter 6 or 7. Maybe more. If you think my story is boring, I won't be offended if you don't continue reading it. But feel free to comment on it.
Just a quick shout-out and a happy birthday to Erin P., Melissa, and two teachers at my school. Have a great birthday!!
So I guess if you are reading my blog, you must want to hear about what's going on in my life right now. Nothing much is happening, but I am excited for the long weekend. I like school and everything, but it's nice to have a break. I've also been hanging out with lots of different people and making new friends. My class at school keeps getting new students.
On Easter weekend I am hoping to see some family, I might get to see my cousin/best friend (that's right I'm talking about you, Emily!) and maybe some grandparents or something. Sounds fun, I know. March Break was pretty much boring for me. I saw some movies... recently I saw Alice in Wonderland, it was really good.
Anyway, I have to go now.

This Has Been A Fast Year
I am officially 11 years, 6 months, and 3 days old!
Christmas is coming and I can't believe how fast this year has gone. I mean WOA. There I am counting down:
10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1....HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
Next thing I know, everyone's huddled around me singing "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Sam! Happy birthday to you!" And then school is over.
I go to sleep and he next day I wake up and it's time to go Christmas shopping!
What a year it's been, too! can't even begin to believe the fun I've had. I am acting very optimistic towards what 2010 will bring.
Wow, 2010. I have to get used to saying and writing and typing that. This is crazy!

A Walk Down Memory Lane
I know, I know, that was a cheesy title. But truly, that is what I did recently. I read my blogs, journals, notebooks, and everything I could find. I read the oldest entries to the newest. It was pretty crazy reading how I thought, spoke, and acted when I was younger. Did you know my frist entry on this very blog was when I was just 6 or 7 years old? 2005 was my first entry. I think it was in March. Pretty crazy, right? I was my little brother's age now! I have come along way and changed in many ways. But, guess what? I am still the same Sam! I am the same Sam I was 4 years ago. And that, my friends, will never change (I hope!).

Summer Events
OK, so you know how about 1 post ago, I decided to make a list of things I should do over the summer. Well, I have accomplished 2 of those things.
2. Visit with an old friend
Our friends Janice and Jen are my dads childhood friends and we still visit with them and stuff. So they came to our house a couple weeks ago and we basically hung out and had fun!

Ahem...
Drum role PLEASE!
I, Samantha, am proud to present a new story on SAMANTHA'S WRITING BLOG!!!! In case you have no idea who or what that is, I will tell. In story version.
READING GLASSES, PLEASE! OK!
Once upon a time there was a beautiful, awesome, amazing, cute, funny, smart (OK Sam, they get the point), girl. Her name was Samantha, or Sam for short. She loved to write stories. So one day, her mom said, "Why don't we make you a blog where you can write stories!" BRILLIANT, was she, Samantha's mom. So Sam got to work writing, all day, and all night. But then...
Sam decided she would give up. She thought she wasn't good and that she could never be a good enough writer to finish one story. So she never wrote in the writing blog again.
But now...
She is doing it again! Ha ha! But you will have to wait for the blog, because some tech diffs are happening right now...stay tuned!

YAY FOR SCHOOL BEING DONE!!!!

NATIONAL SCREAMING LOUD DAY!!!!

GUESS WHAT! HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT I AM SCREAMING?
Oh, you haven't? Oh, dang...
ANYWAY, get ready to scream, shout, yell, and PART-TAY, because on June 23 (2009), we are celebrating NATIONAL SCREAMING LOUD DAY!
My cousin and BFF, Emily G., and i have been trying to come up with a crazy, fun, and random day to celebrate that wasn't already taken professionally, and this was that day. On this special day, we expect you to shout, scream, be loud and have fun! Scream at least once on that day, PLEASE! For us!
Tell all of your friends! We want to get as much publicity as possible!
